To try and keep this all in prospective, we have been dealing with the mark of the beast, and his name and the number of the beast. The mark of the beast, we think it may be the cross, some say it is Sunday worship, yet others say it is a computer chip, and still some say it is the money.
The most prominent mark we see is the cross. And it is the cross that has so many pagan meanings behind it.
The name of the beast, we find the church using the name Jesus Christ and this name is not the true name of Yehowshuwa the Messiah, it is a replacement, or a false name.
Finally we have the number of the beast 666, in Greek χ- 600, ξ-60, ς-6 =666
So we are saying to be on guard for these signs and symbols. It states that the beast with two horns like a lamb is going to force people to worship the first beast.
Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
The image of the beast, who is the false Messiah, Jesus Christ will force everyone to worship him, or be killed.
And it is him who will force everyone to receive the mark.
Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
You will know the time when this is forced on the people. We will have to make the choice not to accept the mark even if it means death. As it is stated in the bible.
Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Luke 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
